About the company
Our client is a large global gold producer with several open pit and underground operations in Australia. Extensive expansion of their underground operation has created the opportunity for an up and coming Mining Engineer to join the Production team of one of their premier gold mines in WA. The opportunity offers the potential for growth and development in a supportive and rewarding environment.

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Production Engineer, you will be responsible for the production scheduling and drill and blast activities driven by the short to medium term plan with a great opportunity to learn and have support from Senior Engineers across the technical services group.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
  • Completion of underground practical time to satisfy requirements for a WA First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency is highly desirable
  • Have at least 3 years' experience and/or completion of underground time
  • Have exposure to Microsoft office and mining software such as Deswik
  • Have a current WA Dangerous Goods card
  • Hold a valid WA "C" driver's license.
