Description

Under moderate supervision, executes security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company data or systems. Investigates attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and designs countermeasures. Develops, implements, administers, and maintains policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of company data and systems. Audits information systems, platforms and operating procedure in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy and security.

  • Implement control systems solutions including but not limited to Identity and Access Management (IAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Privileged Access Management, Conditional Access (Azure), Transfer completed solutions to operational support teams.
  • Respond to operation support issue escalations and resolve problems impacting performance and availability.
  • Investigate security incidents and performs penetration testing to determine vulnerabilities and appropriate controls to prevent, detect, or respond to future events.
  • Research developments in the security industry. Assess organization's needs. Propose options and drive improvements of techniques, methodologies, services and technologies.
  • Perform other duties as requested


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED and eleven (11) years of experience in security systems technologies and ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), or CEH Certification or related security certification OR
  • Associates Degree and nine (9) years of experience in security systems technologies and ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), or CEH Certification or related security certification OR
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related field and seven (7) years of experience in security systems technologies OR
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related field and five (5) years of experience in security systems technologies and ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), or CEH Certification or related security certification OR
  • Masters Degree in Information Systems or related field and five (5) years of experience in security systems technologies OR
  • Masters Degree in Information Systems or related field and four (4) years of experience in security systems technologies and ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), or CEH Certification or related security certification
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiar with security regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, presentation and facilitation.


Preferred

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
  • Experience implementing and maintaining Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) systems
  • In-depth knowledge of access control security including AAA protocols (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting), digital certificates, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and segregation of duties for user and administrative accounts
  • In-depth knowledge of provisioning, deprovisioning, transfer, federation with third parties, and access reviews
  • Experience and knowledge of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) including access role development, role maintenance, and defining application level roles/groups and permissions to ensure secure authentication and authorization mechanisms are aligned with policies and standards
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft ActiveDirectory, Azure ActiveDirectory users and groups, Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) Solutions, Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP), Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) Security, and Microsoft Business to Business (B2B) Security are a plus
  • Working knowledge of programming and software development


Criteria/Conditions

  • Positon is in a busy, non-smoking office located in downtown Phoenix, AZ.
  • Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to work for hours at a time in front of a computer and keyboard utilizing Microsoft desktop tools.
  • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
  • Freeport-McMoRan promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing.

  • Positions which Freeport-McMoRan has designated as safety sensitive positions in the applicable job or position description and which upon further review continue to be designated as safety-sensitive based on an individualized assessment of the actual duties performed by a specifically identified employee.
