My client, a leading mining business who have in recent years experienced significant growth in West Africa, currently seeks a Senior Accountant to be based at their main hub in Ghana.

Reporting to the CFO and working with a tightly knit team, the role will include but not be limited to the following:

• Improving the integrity of all management and financial accounting.
• Ownership of month end financial reporting.
• Budgeting and forecasting including assisting the Financial Controller with the annual reforecasting process.
• Continued development of KPIs, working closely with operations and functional heads.
• Hands on management of day to day tasks such as payroll/nominal ledger when required.
• Training of team members, taking time to ensure that local talent learn and improve daily.
• Ad hoc projects

The successful candidate will be an Accountant from heavy industry. Given the budget we are open to both qualified and part qualified Accountants

This is a FIFO roster with flights, accommodation, benefits and bonus included.
