Lehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified Maint Mechanic 1.  This position is based at the Lake Bridgeport, TX plant.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with screen media and conveyors, be flexible on schedules and be results-oriented.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS:

• Screen inspections - monitor performance, identify wear and perform screen media replacement
• Conveyor inspections
• Roller replacement
• Assist with repair and maintenance involving disassembly, overhaul, assembly, and adjustments of crushing and screening or mobile equipment components.
• Maintain proper tool/parts inventory for specified jobs.
• Complete maintenance projects in a timely manner to ensure production goals.
• Maintain up to date written or data input spreadsheets on all equipment repairs.
• Ensure that all repairs are performed accurately to the manufacturer standards.
• Performs other miscellaneous mechanical and maintenance duties as assigned.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

• Prefer 2 years prior maintenance experience
• Welding experience preferred
• Open pit mining operations and aggregate products experience
• Frequently lift 25 pounds; occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.
• MSHA training a plus
