Due to the winning of the exciting new contract for Adelaide Rail, we are now seeking a capable Assurance and Investigation Officer to assist in the continual improvement of the integrated management system, through undertaking assurance and investigation activities that detect deficiencies and opportunities for continual improvement and provide assurance of critical controls to key risks.

About You:

• Completed qualifications in Safety Management and/or Quality Management, and/or rail operations, and/or rail related maintenance, or related discipline
• Have current Safety Lead Auditor and / or Quality Lead Auditor accreditation
• Have current ICAM (Incident Cause Analysis Method) Lead Investigator accreditation
• Have a current drivers licence
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety and/or quality management systems
• Proven experience in undertaking audit and assurance activities, including audit planning development and application of audit tools, and development of audit reports
• Proven experience of investigation within a complex, high consequence industry
• Understanding of rail or other complex, high consequence industries
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to interpret complex requirements such as Rail Safety National Law (SA) 2012, WH&S Act & Regulations and associated legislation and Australian and International Standards associated with Safety and Quality, and internal KDA technical standards and network rules.
