About the Role
WorkPac is currently seeking a Training Advisor to be based in Perth CBD for a 12-month contract. If you are open-minded, friendly and confident, this opportunity can offer you the chance to fully explore and develop your interests in training.

Reporting to the Senior Advisor, the duties include:
  • Implement Training Strategy for the D7 Functional Safety Implementation Project
  • Support the design and facilitation of Learning Needs Analysis activities, to identify and assess functional safety training and development needs
  • Support the design and advise on the development of competency-based training materials and assessments with the internal Learning and Development team and external training vendors
  • Liaise with the internal Learning & Development team to map required competencies to employee profiles
  • Source external fit for purpose learning solutions to support business goals and objectives, assisting with contract arrangements
  • Define and measure training success by conducting business wide surveys and monitoring training completion

To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • Cert IV Training and Assessment (TAE)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or other related discipline and/or demonstrated relevant experience at a senior level
  • Current WA Drivers License
  • Prior role as a Training Specialist and/or similar
  • Experience in designing competency-based training packages and workshops
  • The ability to identify business learning requirements and sourcing external training
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of various training and development practices
  • Knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principle
  • Proficiency in the operation of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to convey complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills, to be able to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and changing learning needs
  • Ability to create, develop and implement internal training programs
