Production Geologist

Reporting to the Geology Manager and working on a residential 5:2 roster this Production Geologist role will require an individual who is a team player and  safety conscious. They will also capable of working with a diverse team of production geologists, technical services staff, underground operations personnel, and diamond drillers.

Requirements & Responsibilities for the Production Geologist:

• A commitment to health & safety
• Bachelor of Science in Geology or similar 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to bring ideas and solutions to the table based on previous experiences
• Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced mine production environment
• Registered, or eligible to register, as a GIT or Professional Geoscientist with Professional Body
• 3 years experience working in a production underground mining environment
• Experience with 3D modeling software, geological database software & mapping software is required
• Strong communication, computing, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to liaise with both engineering and production personnel
