About the Role
WorkPac is seeking applications from motivated individuals for a Service Technician based out of Mackay workshop.
The role will be responsible for carrying out mechanical duties, repairs and maintenance, fault diagnosis, pre-deliveries, rebuilds and general workshop duties. As well as this, the Service Technician will also assist with Field Service responsibilities as required.

About the Role
WorkPac is seeking applications from motivated individuals for a Service Technician based out of Mackay workshop.
The role will be responsible for carrying out mechanical duties, repairs and maintenance, fault diagnosis, pre-deliveries, rebuilds and general workshop duties. As well as this, the Service Technician will also assist with Field Service responsibilities as required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out general mechanical duties, maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis work on all Sandvik Mining equipment. (underground drill rigs)
- Performing mechanical maintenance duties as per maintenance plans while upholding the integrity of the equipment and ensuring safe operation is not compromised.
- Providing feedback for efficient maintenance planning improvements.
- Record keeping of parts usage, equipment monitoring, time records.
- Adhering to all policies & procedures, especially EHS policies
Must Have:
- Trade Qualified
- You will be proactive, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative
- Strong and proven safety culture
- Must have a Positive Can do attitude
- Must be prepared to work underground
Skills & Experience:
- Current Driver's Licence
- Right to work within Australia
