About the role

We are looking for a Systems Accountant to join our Applecross based team. Reporting to the Senior Group Accountant - Process Improvement, your primary responsibility will be to drive continuous improvement for our Pronto Finance system.

You will collaborate with Finance and IT in order to meet business and Finance requirements through performance and data integrity of MRL finance systems.

You will

• Implement system upgrades, troubleshoot, undertake root cause analysis and resolution of system issues.
• Document and maintain system controls including policies and procedures aimed at improving integrity of financial data.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives including executing a training program for all PRONTO users.

What you'll bring to the team

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce or IT related fields
• 5+ years experience working in finance and systems orientated positions
• Experience with SQL/BI reporting
• Strong Pronto systems experience
