Position Description:

Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an Autoclave Administrative Assistant to join the Process Operations team at Goldstrike. The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative support for the Process operations department.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and screen telephone calls, assist with incoming inquiries, and resolve problems using knowledge of department policies and procedures
  • Provide confidential administrative support for the Process Operations Department.
  • Circulate mail, records, publications, and order and maintain office supplies
  • Monitor incoming mail and respond as appropriate
  • Perform printing, copying, collating, binding, packaging, etc.
  • Serve as a liaison between managers and employees and schedule appointments and meetings
  • Prepare confidential documents and presentations
  • Electronic filing with advanced knowledge of filing systems
  • Maintain and update department files, records and publications
  • Collect data and compile monthly (and as needed) expense reports
  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly site communications
  • Event planning and coordination
  • Monitor incoming mail and respond as appropriate
  • Attend meetings and document minutes
  • Generate requests for payment and code and enter data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and skills equivalent to that gained through a minimum of four (4) years clerical/secretarial experience preferred
  • Advanced, demonstrated knowledge of office management/administrative support practices and procedures required
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion required
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Visio) Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP required
  • Advanced experience with Electronic filing systems required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with a wide variety of people required
  • Front Line, Professional Environment Customer Service Skills required
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a heavy workload in a fast-paced, demanding environment required
