Instrumentation and Electrical Technician Apply Now angle-right
We are currently seeking two experienced Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians to work within our Electrical service division within the Newcastle region.

Reporting to the Services Manager, this role will work at various client sites in the Lower and Upper Hunter Regions, Western and Southern coalfields. Ideally you will have experience in industry and looking to build and develop your expertise into a specialised field.

THE ROLE

• Develop and participate in the overall execution of planned and unplanned electrical based tasks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repair electrical plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conduct general repairs and calibration of industrial instrumentation.
• Ensure that all statutory and organisational operational and safety requirements are always adhered to.
• Monitor, measure, communicate and report, issues, opportunities, risks, technical deviations and achievements pro-actively in all work place areas.
• Logically and systematically solve problems by implementing sound fault finding and fault rectification processes.

ABOUT YOU

• An experienced industrial Electrical and Instrumentation Technician with an NSW Electrical Licence and a Certificate IV in Instrumentation or equivalent.
• A strong commitment to safe working practices with the ability to read and interpret technical drawing and specifications.
• Computer literate, specifically MS Word and Excel, hold a High Risk Work licence and a current EWP.
• It would be advantageous if you had knowledge and experience in radiation, programming and communication systems.
