Position summary:

Downer Defence Systems has a 12 month contract opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to work with Senior Leadership to evaluate the organisation, identify opportunities and solve organisational L&D challenges to increase efficiency and effectiveness. The Learning & Development Manager will consult with individuals and teams to design and implement organisational performance and development programs. Specifically, the Downer Defence Systems Capability Framework and Downer Defence Systems Learning Pathways.

Skill and experience required:
  • Demonstrated experience in an Learning and Development or Organisational Development position, working with stakeholders to define and execute large scale projects, along with implementation of programs
  • Experience working within a professional services firm (desirable)
  • Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects in a high tempo environment
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • High attention to detail

Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (learning, organisational management, leadership, psychology,) or a comparable level of experience
  • Cert. IV in Project Management, PRINCE2 or equivalent (desirable)
  • Post-Graduate qualifications (desirable)

Security:
