Job Details
A leading mining company is looking for a Mine Operations Manager to be residential. You will be responsible for the development of all mine operations expense and capital budgets, including workforce planning. Work in a team to procure all mine equipment and develop maintenance agreements. Support development and design of all mine operations infrastructure – includes blasting explosives plant, mine dispatch infrastructure, as well as drainage and dewatering facilities. Develop operations processes to support mine planning, ore quality and grade control programs as well as production forecasting. Participate in development and execution of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs.
The ideal candidate will have good mine management/operations experience in the start-up of open pit mines, and preferably a BSc Mining Engineering but this isn’t essential.
