Position summary
NEWest Alliance is a multidisciplinary collaboration between CPB Contractors and Downer, working with the Public Transport Authority to deliver over $1.2 billion of works as part of METRONET.

Across two projects (Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie-Cockburn Link), the Alliance will add 32 kilometres of track to Perth's rail network, 5 new stations and 3 station modifications as well as 14 kilometres of principal shared path.

Together the projects are set to create 3000 jobs and once operational will give residents of the northern and southern suburbs greater access to employment and training, entertainment and recreation hubs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an opportunity for an experienced Configuration Engineer to join our NEWest Alliance office. You will also be responsible for:

• Maintaining register of Configuration Items and Baselines
• Act as Secretary of Configuration Control Board
• Prepare CCB Certificates
• Update Configuration Management Plan for construction and testing phases of project.

ABOUT YOU

You are a strong communicator with effective problem solving skills. To be successful in this role you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
• Demonstrated project delivery experience in infrastructure or building
• Detail-oriented
• Familiar with configuration management practices or document control in an engineering environment
• Experience in project planning, cost control, document control and quality systems & processes on high value projects
