About our Client

Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.

About the Role

Supporting the drill and blast team at Rio Tinto ' s Brockman 2 mine site, you will be required to prime and load blast holes, mark up drill patterns, check drilling depths as well as various other activities associated with the safe and secure blasting operations on site.
Blast crew operators are required to be physically fit and have a tolerance for working outdoors in harsh conditions.
As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing our client's production requirements.

Skills and Experience
  • 12 months + blast crew experience
  • WA issued Dangerous Goods Security Card
  • Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)
  • HR driver s licence (highly desirable)
