About Our Client:
Our client provides valued fire services to thousands of local, regional, and national businesses, government agencies and organisations.
About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Fire Protection Technician in Rockhampton for an asap start. This position will hold a Monday to Friday roster, 38 hours per week, 3 months in duration with competitive rates available for the successful applicant.
This position would suit an experienced Domestic Electrician with strong safety experience and preferably experience in fire related servicing.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install fire detection and alarm systems, fire suppression systems and firefighting equipment.
  
• inspect and service equipment and systems to ensure they are operational.
  

Skills and Experience:

• Electrical Trade Certificate
  
• Extinguishing Agent Handling Licence
  
• Current "C" Class Driver's License and Own Transport
  
• Ability to pass a full Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
  
• Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
