Senior Commercial Accountant - International Operations
Work Location: Perth

During this exciting time at Fortescue, with expansion and innovation we are seeking a qualified Senior Commercial Accountant to join the team. You will be a group finance support for all International entities.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day Group Finance Support function for all International entities
- Co-ordinate and deliver various Month End tasks for all International entities
- Workload Management, coaching and support for 2 Commercial Accountants
- Facilitation and delivery of Annual Budgets and Quarterly Forecasts for GM review and approval
- Liaising with International external advisors to co-ordinate local accounting, tax and audit obligations
- Preparation and review of financial statements and local tax compliance returns
- Review accounting processes to ensure structure is fit for purpose as International Operations expand
Qualifications and skills required:
- 5+ years experience in a similar position at a senior level
- Big4 accounting experience
- CA / CPA qualified with a Accounting/Tax/Commerce undergraduate Degree
- Spanish speaking
- Resource industry & International experience a benefit
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
- Experience with SAP
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with high attention to detail
