MILL GENERAL FOREMAN

OVERVIEW

Alexco Resource Corp. owns the majority of the historic high-grade Keno Hill Silver District located in Canada’s Yukon

Territory. With nearly 1,000 meters of underground development completed at our two new deposits and a robust Pre-

Feasibility Study released, Alexco is advancing the district towards a production with the goal of production in Q4 2020.

This is a great opportunity to be part of the team that is building one of the highest-grade silver operations in the world.

We are looking for an individual to join our growing team in the role of a Mill General Foreman.

The Mill General Foreman is responsible is responsible for day to day mill operations and maintenance, including the ore

pad, crushing plant, grinding, flotation, dewatering tailings dry stack and water management. The Mill General Foreman

manages mill operations and maintenance personnel to ensure that risks are mitigated, and performance targets are

safely achieved.

RESPONSIBILITES

• To ensure compliance with all safety, quality, schedule, cost and security requirements;

• Support the plan and budget to ensure that adequate personnel, equipment and materials are in place to meet the production objectives;

• Guide, coach & mentorship of direct reports and supervisors to oversee the training, supervising, evaluation and provide leadership for the department;

• Work closely with all departments to coordinate activities; with specific focus with the Mill Maintenance;

• Achievement of weekly, monthly, and quarterly mill performance targets;

• Mill operations and maintenance planning, including shutdowns and collaboration across the site;

• Contribute to the development of mill department budgets and forecasts;

• Ability to operate in a safe and responsible manner;

• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors;

• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred 3 years college diploma in related field;

• Minimum 10 years mill operating experience;

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory level experience;

• Strong working knowledge of gold milling processes, operating and maintenance practices;

• Effective communicator;

• Committed to collaboration, continuous improvement, and success within the mill department and across the site;

• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure.
