Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Recording and tracking for the internal and external distribution of project documentation (reference/technical/sub-contractors/vendor)
  • Data entry in all required field(s) for the applicable project documentation
  • Transmittal management (team quality/accuracy checking)
  • Document control reports (basic filters) including monthly progress status reports for both internal and external documentation
  • Uploading project documentation using Sharepoint
  • Transferring/receiving of project documentation with client systems
  • Responding to internal and or external documentation requests
  • Ensures timely transfer of electronic files / hard copy documentation to/from clients and 3rd party vendors
  • Maintaining document control files (hard copy/soft files)
  • Document control filing for the soft and hard copies of project documentation and emails as required by the Lead Document Controller and or the Supervisor of document systems
  • Reprographics as required
  • Project turnover & close-out activities as assigned by the Lead Document Controller and/or Supervisor of document systems
  • Understanding an adhering to project document control procedures and quality assurance standards
  • Providing input regarding improvements to the document control process
  • Makes routine decisions and recommendations within authorized limits. Exercises initiative in completing recurring assignments independently.


Requirements
  • Three years’ experience in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience sending and receiving drawings and expediting transmittals
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to work both as part of a team or independently
  • Computer skills
