Mobile Supervisor

Musselwhite Mine

We are seeking an energetic individual to join our Maintenance Department and contribute their skills and knowledge to our ongoing development and growth. This individual will report directly to the Maintenance Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line supervision of the day-to-day activities of Maintenance Technicians to ensure that production, safety and environmental business objectives are met.
• Promote and ensure compliance to the OHSA and regulations, Corporate and Musselwhite Environmental, Safety, Sustainability, and Human Resources Standards.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities in compliance to the maintenance schedule.
• Provide timely, accurate and well-communicated shift reports and summaries for cross-shift and turnaround needs.
• Responsible for creating work orders and managing backlog items.
• Ensure personnel development through varied job assignments, training, and employee involvement.
• Provide on-going coaching, feedback, and development suggestions to improve employee performance.

Requirements

• College diploma or degree preferred with recognized trade certificates, but will consider a secondary school diploma with extensive experience and certificates.
• 8-10 years progressive mobile maintenance experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Strong focus on customer service relations
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong desire to develop leadership competencies and business acumen.
• Highly effective in motivation, organization and decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation, listening).
• Passionate commitment and role model for safety.

The work schedule for this position is 14 on, 14 days off, working 12 hour days.
