Senior Electrical Designer

This position is based out of our office in Exton, PA, and reports to our Manager of Electrical Engineering. It is responsible and will be a part of a team that works on fast paced technically complex design/build projects, working with the Electrical Lead you will coordinate, design, prepare, review and select building electrical system concepts in the biotech, pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries.

How will you contribute to the team?
  • Working on projects of increasing complexity in a supporting design role.
  • Participating in design projects from concept to completion.
  • Assisting senior engineer/engineers in their daily tasks.
  • Selecting electrical equipment.
  • Coordinating lighting systems and architectural requirements of electrical systems with the Architect.
  • Coordinating electrical requirements of HVAC and Plumbing equipment with mechanical engineers and coordinate electrical requirements of process equipment with process engineers.
  • Coordinating drawing packages for issue.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.


What will you contribute?
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 10 to 15 years of Prior Electrical design experience in industrial, biotech, pharmaceutical or food sectors.
  • Experience with clean rooms, pharmaceutical, chemical and biotech facilities.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Time management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in high pressure environments.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Use feedback to improve skills.
