SNC-Lavalin's Calgary office is seeking Senior Document Expeditor to join their team for a project-based assignment.
This position will be reporting to the Project Procurement Lead.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Initiate first contact with the supplier
  
• Obtain signed Purchase Order acknowledgement from the supplier
  
• Participate in kick off meeting
  
• Assist to set up vendor in Document Management System
  
• Obtain Purchase Order’s approved SDRL (Supplier Data Requirement List)
  
• Obtain accurate and timely technical as it relates to the SDRL (Supplier Data Requirement List)
  
• Regularly obtain supplier data from Aconex and create weekly document status report for project review
  
• Close interaction with the supplier and project engineering team to expedite critical vendor data/document to support project schedule
  
• Run KPI (Key Performance Indicator) report for vendors for document submission
  
• Implement proactive/preventative/corrective measures with the supplier/Engineer where delays are foreseen
  

What will you contribute?

• Post-secondary degree preferably in technical and business field or a combination of education and experience
  
• 10+ years’ experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry in an EPC environment
  
• Solid knowledge of document expediting function
  
• Exposure to Capital and sustaining projects
  
• Ability to work in team or as individual contributor
  
• Background in LSTK (Lump sum turnkey) or reimbursable contracting
  
• Strong computer skills including experience with Document Management system (Aconex, excel etc.)
  
• Good organizational and planning skills and detail oriented
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
