CSG Talent is partnered with Anglo American Woodsmith Ltd as they look for a Quality and Regulatory Affairs Specialist.

Join the Anglo American team as a Product Stewardship Manager where you will play a key role in supporting teams developing and maintaining the Crop Nutrients current and developing polyhalite product portfolio. Reporting to the Crop Science Director this role will be responsible for accurately interpreting and applying specialised knowledge for the compliance of regulatory and good practice supply chain traceability needs.

Anglo American is a leading global mining company and our products are the essential ingredients in almost every aspect of modern life. Their Crop Nutrients business is creating a unique fertilizer project that will help the world grow more food in a better way. POLY4 is their flagship multinutrient fertilizer product. Made from polyhalite, it contains four of the six macro-nutrients and many micronutrients that are essential to plant growth. It allows farmers to maximise their crop yield, increase quality and improve soil structure with one simple product.

Anglo American's global agronomy programme provides technical, agronomic and commercial validation for POLY4's use as an effective multi-nutrient fertilizer suitable for widespread use in commercial farming. They also have a number of value-added product streams in a range of development stages.

Job description

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor the product registration position, to ensure we can maintain authorisations and account for changes in the products or national legislation requirements and licenses.
  • Perform all activities in compliance with relevant GMP and Quality Systems standards and in compliance with required protocols including traceability and suitability for purpose.
  • Ensure data / evidence generation and compliance in relation to environmental impact, and human toxicology, product disposal, storage and product transportation.
  • Provide support and advice to marketing in respect of labelling and terminology.
  • Provide commercialisation support for novel products, minimise time to market and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain and continuously expand knowledge of relevant regulations, to actively follow proposed changes and relevant industry associations' guidelines.
  • Update all stakeholders on regulatory and best practice guidance and changes.
  • Liaise with global registration authorities providing appropriate guidance to ensure the development of registration process and continued inclusion of POLY4 on registers.


Qualifications
  • Solid regulatory expertise within the agronomy/crop's registrations
  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent qualification
  • Background in the fertilizer industry
  • Skilled in data manipulation, analysis, and reporting
  • Good at assimilating complex information and making informed decisions
  • A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills


Location:

Resolution House office, Scarborough

A full UK driving licence is required for this role as well as also sharing Anglo American Woodsmith Ltd's values and determination to reach the company's goals quickly, efficiently and with the highest safety standards.
