Gold Fields - Agnew is currently seeking a Supervisor: Process (Shift) to join their Processing department. This role is offered on 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off Fly in Fly out roster from Perth.
Reporting to the Coordinator: Processing Production, you will be responsible for the supervision of process technicians to ensure the shift operates in a safe and efficient manner complying with all the policies and procedures and meeting the set production targets cost effectively.

Reporting to the Coordinator: Processing Production, you will be responsible for the supervision of process technicians to ensure the shift operates in a safe and efficient manner complying with all the policies and procedures and meeting the set production targets cost effectively.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Always act in a manner that seeks to enhance the safety culture and performance of GFA and ensures that the Vital Behaviours are adhered to at all times.
- Supervise the operation of the treatment plant in accordance with task instructions and operational parameters to ensure consistent achievement of safe budgeted production
- Support the Processing department achieving its objectives in alignment with the sites goals by clearly defining daily tasks and accountabilities
- Supervise all relevant Contractors and other services who enter the Processing Compound, ensuring all activities are aligned with meeting all Safety Criteria and Operational targets
- Develop, implement and monitor adherence to appropriate new procedures, processes and technology to ensure the safety and efficient operation of the processing assets
- Manage production resources so as to provide the Processing Department effectiveness and efficiency required to meet operating targets to assist in cost control of department budgets
- Assist and maintain a competency based training and assessment program for Technicians
- Provide ongoing leadership and mentoring for Technicians through effective use of the Performance Management system
- Carry out inspections in accordance with the safe disposal of tailings in the site Tailings storage facilities, on a shift by shift basis.
- Continue with the development of the crews in maintaining an independent level of maintenance practices/ plant upkeep.
- Provide ongoing support to and continuously liaise with the Maintenance Coordinator and work groups to ensure the success of the department's maintenance strategy.
Key factors to your success include;
- Proven extensive Supervisory experience in a processing plant preferably gold
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office & mining software including INX and SAP
- Current WA Dangerous Goods Card, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Forklift, Bobcat and Dogging certifications are desirable
- Valid Driver's License
- Apply First Aid certificate is desirable
