We require a Temporary Shift Assayer to assist the team with daily sample analysis and validation, for a six-month contract. We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to safety policies and procedures. Reporting to the Assay Lab Supervisor, your responsibilities would include:

We require a Temporary Shift Assayer to assist the team with daily sample analysis and validation, for a six-month contract. We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to safety policies and procedures. Reporting to the Assay Lab Supervisor, your responsibilities would include:
- Collection and preparation of Geological and Metallurgical samples
- Reagent and stock solution preparation and maintenance
- Instrument calibration and maintenance
- Inventory control and reporting
- General housekeeping
Our ideal candidate would have:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in wet and fire assaying
- Diploma or degree in Chemistry is considered an asset
- Assayer certification is preferred
- Strong time management skills
- Experience with instrument software, MS Office suite and LIMS
- Valid driver's license required
