We are looking for a Procurement Specialist (Maintenance Supply Chain Optimisation) to lead and be the key point of contact for an allocated portfolio of suppliers. This role requires someone who is an experienced Procurement professional with experience in negotiating Incoterms, commercial change management and supplier relationship management. This role works in collaboration with procurement and other internal stakeholders including operations, asset management, warehousing, inventory, logistics and finance.

This role requires a proactive, resilient and self-motivated individual and is a great opportunity for someone who has strategic acumen coupled with strong influencing and communication skills. This role interfaces with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, displaying credibility and building trust is important.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Supplier Engagement and working in a challenging and exciting environment within the procurement team, you will:
  • Identify and develop plans for execution of opportunities to redirect goods to alternative inbound supply chain networks;
  • Prepare, conduct and conclude negotiation of Incoterms;
  • Extract and analyse elements of the total logistics and supply chain cost to understand shipping costs and maximise savings opportunities;
  • Lead Supplier engagements for all matters related to the amendment of the inbound supply chain;
  • Partner with Procurement Category, Program Leads and SME's to deliver program objectives
  • Partner with Business Unit stakeholders and end users to ensure their needs and requirements are identified, assessed and validated (e.g. demand and forecasts, maintenance schedules, operational requirements etc); and
  • Review, draft and execution of contractual documents to formalise negotiated amendments to any related Incoterms and inbound supply chain.
