Newmont Boddington Gold is one of the largest gold producers in Australia and soon to be the World's First Open Pit Gold Autonomous Haulage operation. What you will be doing

Your role in the Information Technology team at Newmont Boddington Gold will be to provide effective end-user support for site. The team's focus is to deliver site based IT services to Newmont's Boddington operation and includes support of infrastructure and network operations, end user devices and issue resolution.

Responsibilities will include:-

• Providing support and input for all aspects of regional IT facilities and IT EUC services which may include support and troubleshooting of Desktop devices, mobile/phone devices, printer devices, audio/visual equipment and other related IT devices.
• Interfacing with Infrastructure/Network and Project Management teams to understand support and maintenance standards for all aspects of Newmont's regionally owned IT facilities and related IT services to ensure they are supported and maintained to standards as applicable to the region.
• Ensuring that regional IT facilities are maintained, including working with service providers to ensure that the environment is stable and highly available.
• Providing appropriate identification, escalation, and communication for site issues they are responsible for in service delivery performance.
• Ensuring all site IT issues are tracked, actions are taken towards resolution and drive issues to closure.
• Accurately tracking and maintaining site facilities and other support documentation of areas.
• Providing timely follow through with customers and IT peers on IT service requests and tasks.

Who you are

You will be a skilled IT Technician preferably with a university degree or technical certificate and significant in-field experience within the mining industry. Your outstanding problem solving skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers will be the key to your success in this role.
