About this role

What will you be responsible for?

The primary purpose of the Senior Condition Monitoring Analyst role is to lead a team of regional asset health analysts that centrally supervise and analyse equipment & operational data in order to diagnose and predict equipment health. This is utilised to develop and prioritise effective solutions sought at optimising equipment reliability and production. The Senior Asset Health Analyst is responsible for ensure sustained quality services to sites, including the management of continuous improvement projects lead by individual team members.

Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:
  • Supervise Denver-based Asset Health Analysts (15%)
  • Analyse operational asset health data sources and advance corrective actions (25%)
  • We build and maintain relationships with site-based leaders and condition monitoring personnel (15%)
  • We work with sites to drive asset health related improvement projects (15%)
  • Project manage the integration of new sites into AHC (Americas) (10%)
  • Mentor Asset Health Analysts and site Condition Monitoring personnel (5%)
  • Lead regional AHC value and performance reporting (5%)
  • We facilitate regional AHC performance meetings with sites (5%)
  • Chair regional Asset Health Teamwork Forums (5%)

Your training, skills, and experience checklist

Here is what we would need to see from you!

Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of Fixed Plant assets within mining or comparable industry
  • Specialised condition monitoring systems, i.e. AMS (MHM), Trakka, etc.

Experience:
  • Trade or Engineering qualification
  • Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in condition monitoring analysis roles, within mining or comparable industry
  • Experience in applicable leadership/supervisory roles
  • Advanced nalysis of coordinated data sources to determine corrective actions
  • Implementing online/remote condition monitoring systems
  • Application of Reliability and Failure Analysis tools, i.e. RCM, RCA, etc.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Vibration Analysis - minimum ISO Level 2 certification (Advanced Analyst)
  • Lubrication Analysis - minimum ICML Level 3 certification (Advanced Analyst)
  • Intermediate level of SAP transactional skills (creation and querying of notifications, work order status, extracting history, etc.)
  • Intermediate report writing and project management skills (monthly reporting, self-managed improvement projects, etc.)
  • Intermediate communication and presentation skills (including influencing and mentor of site personnel and working with external supplier/services)
  • Ability to build collaborative and productive relations across functions, sites and regions
  • We use strong analytical skills
  • Must have ability to efficient ly utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and Project applications

  • The position is located in the Denver Operations Support Hub
  • Position is required to travel to, and assist other domestic and international sites
