Purpose

Newmont is seeking experienced Millwrights to join our team who will be responsible for operation of the mill facility. Put your millwrighting skills to the test with your enthusiasm and dedication to safety to contribute to a fast-paced motivated team that is dedicated to achieving production goals.

Essential Duties

• Lead by example, in all Newmont's safety and environmental practices, ensuring complete safe practices.
• Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild crushers and associated equipment.
• Replace and align belts and motors.
• Replace conveyor rollers, pulleys, and belts.
• Rebuild pumps.
• Various types of welding and any other types of maintenance associated with the crushing systems and ADR plant.
• Must be able to read, write, and possess basic math skills

Training & Experience

• Three years prior experience preferred working on Rock Crushers, Conveyors, Belt Feeders, Hydraulic Systems, Millwright, Welding, Pipefitting, Conveyor belt vulcanizing.
• Willingness to work extra hours including callouts and swing shifts whenever and wherever needed.Successful applicant must be able to maintain safe and adequate work surroundings as well as ensuring environmental compliance.

Working Conditions

Must be able to work 12-hour rotating schedule.
