Shutdown People Logistics Officer - 12 month fixed term contract

Work Location: Fortescue Centre East Perth (site support required during shutdowns)

Roster: 8 Days On / 6 Days Off

As part of our People Services team, you will deliver quality customer service and provide strong administrative support to the Shutdown teams and broader business. This is a busy role, working in a fast-paced environment reporting to the People Logistics Shutdown Supervisor.

Key accountabilities will include:

• Mobilising and coordinating logistics for shutdown personnel
• Onsite support when required to provide assistance to the Shutdown Team.
• Booking domestic/commercial flights & accommodation across the business
• Responding to queries & requests
• Liaising with site departments and external contractors
• Processing all required data and ensuring data integrity and quality control
• Preparing accommodation and utilisation reports

Qualifications and skills required:

• Prior experience in a similar role within the resource sector
• SAMS & Workflow experience are highly preferable
• Excellent organisational skills, impeccable communication skills, high attention to detail and possess strong customer service skills including diplomacy, confidentiality and assertiveness
• High level of team spirit and demonstrated safety focus are a must
