Our client is a consulting firm that delivers fleet production and optimisation improvement solutions to the mining industry with a mission is to turn mines into world-class operations. They have partnered with LSI to recruit a Dispatch Systems Training Lead to act as a technical resource on best practices for setup and configuration of Fleet Management Systems, provide in-seat dispatch training at mine sites and assist in the implementation of new processes and associated change management activities.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our client's customers to provide dispatcher training in classroom and real-time environments and develop and maintain training documents relating to dispatching site operating strategies.
  • Design, schedule and deliver comprehensive scenario-based dispatcher training.
  • Execute fleet management system assessments, including system and hardware, remotely and on-site
  • Ensure our client's dispatch training programs are current.
  • Deliver performance management tools training and coaching.
  • Maintain all documentation pertinent to training, reporting, and user follow-up
  • Complete monthly reports highlighting individual and site strengths and opportunities for improvement related to fleet management
  • Keep current on new relevant fleet mgmt applications, releases, and tools
  • Prioritize continuous improvement to our client's dispatch training methodologies.

Skills & Experience
  • A good understanding of fleet management best practices combined with hands on dispatching experience within a large open pit mining operation.
  • Excellent teaching, training, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong digital literacy and an expert user of one or more major fleet management systems (Wenco, Jigsaw, Minestar or Modular)
  • Analytical, organized, self motived with nothing less than world class interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work at a high level with minimal direction but also within a team.
