Mine Geologist

A company with an experienced leadership team with a proven track record of value creation is currently adding to their geology team by hiring a skilled Mine Geologist to report into the Geology Manager. 

This role requires relocation which is taken care of by the company and will be an important role as the company continues to thrive with the current gold price and the company's position in the market. 

The company also has programs in place to help the successful incumbent move into more senior opportunities should they succeed in this role. 

To be successful you would ideally have/ need: 

• Degree qualified geologist with 3-5 years experience. 
• Ability to make recommendations to optimize exploration programs such that mineral resource estimates comply with industry norms for classification
• Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access)
• Experience with 3D modeling software,
• Would have a sound knowledge of geological database software, mapping software. 
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a team environment with engineering and production personnel
• Comfortable with working in multi-disciplinary environments
• Experience in an Underground operation
