CSG are representing one of the world's leading underground contract miners who have an exciting expatriate, FIFO opportunity for an experienced Alternate Project Manager to join their team.

As the Alternate Project Manager, you will be tasked with full accountability for the performance of the operation across all areas including safety, environment & profitability and be pivotal to the success of the business and the effective operation of the project.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in underground metals mining operations from the initial project stages through to mining, and experience with various mining techniques.
• Experience with continuous budget cost and performance analysis; ensuring unnecessary costs are identified and minimised and that income and expenditure targets are achieved.
• Preferably, but not limited to, a degree qualified in Mining Engineering, the successful candidate must have demonstrated success in an Underground Senior engineering position.
• Understand the complexities and various aspects of managing an Underground Contract Mining scope
• Experience and understanding of the various aspects of commercial contracts
