Position summary
Confluence Water Pty Ltd (Confluence Water), a Downer, Broadspectrum and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three consortia to deliver services under Sydney Water's Partnering for Success program. Confluence Water will deliver design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water's Northern region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire. This is a 10-year contract and as part of this contract Downer are committed to developing people within local communities.

Downer has an opportunities for an Project Managers Civil or Mechanical to join our Confluence Water Joint Venture team in permanent, full time position located in Chatswood. Reporting to the Treatment and Facilities Manager, this presents excellent opportunities for an experienced Civil and Mechanical Project Managers to manage different facets of wastewater treatment plants within Sydney Water P4S program of works.
THE ROLE
Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Undertake all Civil or Mechanical aspects wastewater Treatment plants and facilities
• Schedule work activities
• Manage internal and external resources
• Interface with Engineering Design team
• Write construction methodologies and scope of works

ABOUT YOU
This role with suit a Project Manager ideally with water industry experience:

• Demonstrated experience in Project Management of a Water/Wastewater projects
• Degree qualification in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Developed scope of works and written construction methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in management of Project/Site Engineers and subcontractors
• Understanding of relevant specifications, quality analysis and problem-solving skills
• Project planning, organisational and time/ cost management skills
• Understanding of contracts and subcontractor management
