Kinross is looking for a Business or Human Resources student to assist the Human Resources Department during the Summer of 2021.
Job Responsibilities
Work with the Total Rewards and North America HR generalist teams, to:
Education and Experience
- 3rd year Business or Human Resources student, with a focus on Finance
- Superior analytical skills in excel, and great attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to perform well independently as well as on a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish/French/Portuguese/Russian language ability would be an asset

Kinross is looking for a Business or Human Resources student to assist the Human Resources Department during the Summer of 2021.
Job Responsibilities
Work with the Total Rewards and North America HR generalist teams, to:
- Assist with compensation surveys, job evaluation, compensation recommendations, and other total rewards activities
- Complete data analysis and/or prepare summaries on various topical matters (e.g. say on pay results for Canadian companies, past precedents for different issues, etc.)
- Assist with audits or reviews of various HR / compensation matters
- Complete data entry in HR systems and/or clean up system data
- Create documents for various HR tasks
- Assist with non-routine administrative projects as needed such as organizing special events, coordinating documents, processing invoices
- Work with external vendors as needed
- Work is varied and requires strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Work intensity will vary significantly over the course of the term
- Assist with US benefits administration as needed
Education and Experience
- 3rd year Business or Human Resources student, with a focus on Finance
