The Graduate Engineer - Mechanical reports to Track Engineer and undertakes a wide range of duties associated with the delivery of rail maintenance works and renewal projects.

You will:
  • Undertake and/or support activities that may include investigations, planning, change and improvement functions
  • Analysis of data to model trends
  • Maintain records and systems
  • Contribute to a high level of customer service for internal and external clients and quality management and risk
  • Performing work either individually or as part of a team and may from time to time be required to perform work at a lower level or other work appropriate to the classification
  • Work across the Keolis Downer organisation to gain an understanding of operational interfaces with the technical discipline

About you:
  • Recent graduate in a relevant degree (Mechanical or Civil Engineering)
  • Strong interest in working in the rail industry
  • Current class C drivers' licence
  • Must be able to obtain Category 3 Non-Safety Critical Rail Worker health assessment
