Position summary:

This role is within the CASG environment working in the CAF16 - ADF Electronic Flight Bags sustainment team. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team of Commercial, Engineering and other Logistics staff and will be responsible for supporting and managing ADF EFB equipment within the Defence supply chain network. Experience/Skills Sought:
As the successful candidate you will possess experience in the following:
  • Ability to work with limited guidance demonstrating initiative and responsibility
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Risk management

​Essential Qualification:
  • MILIS Experience (managing inventory products, purchasing, disposals, warehouse interaction)

Highly Desirable:
  • Experience working in Defence
  • Experience with Apple mobile products (ipads) and end-user ICT products.
  • Strong MS Excel skills for fleet management

Some Specific Tasks and Activities Required
  • Conduct MILIS audits as required
  • Work with the team to manage equipment obsolescence
  • Perform disposal activities for surplus and obsolete items
  • Provide monthly and ad hoc stock holding reports to the System Manager
  • File and maintain all MILIS documentation (inventory, purchasing, stocktake, discrepancies, stock adjustments etc) within the JC2SPO Objective area
  • Managing the initial codification and cataloguing of items on introduction into service using Common Equipment Schedules
  • Supply Customer Account Holder and/or Manager
