Experiencing business success with increasing project pipelines across our contract and maintenance teams, we have a need for a passionate and high-performing Administrator based on Waiheke Island. In this busy and varied role, you'll be a key member of team and will provide high quality administrative and logistics support alongside coordination and customer service for our people.

Just a 35 minute ferry ride from Auckland Harbour, Waiheke is a slice of paradise with a strong community spirit and stunning sights.

About the role

Reporting to the Opex Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for providing high quality administration and contract support services to team members in a professional and timely manner. You will ensure administration functions within the office are carried out to a consistent high standard whilst meeting the needs of our internal and external customers. Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Data entry, Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable
  • Assisting and supporting OPEX and Renewals Manager
  • Logistics support and Cost Monitoring
  • Office/Depot Management including Receptionist duties
  • Health and Safety representative
  • Stocktake and control


About you
Where no two days will be the same, your highly organised approach and excellent attention to detail would be key to your success in this role. There will be multiple deadlines to meet each month, hence it is a must for you to be deadline-focussed and have spectacular time-management skills. You will have a friendly personality with a solutions focused attitude. You will also have:
  • Previous experience in a similar or a client-facing customer service role
  • Experience in financial systems including raising POs, invoicing and claims
  • A high level of proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with accurate data entry and administration support
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in building and maintaining relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrated leadership behaviours that empower others

We would prefer you to also:
  • Have experience using JD Edwards software
  • Be experienced in using SharePoint
  • Have an understanding of Local Authority and Transport services contracts

As this role is based on Waiheke, it would be preferable for you to be based on the island, however some of our team successfully commute from Auckland via Ferry.
