About The Role
We are looking for a Learning & Development (L&D) Advisor to work with stakeholders to define and design learning outcomes that achieve the best solution for the business.
This role is a great opportunity to develop your strong learning & development background and project management skills whilst engaging a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Superintendent L&D, you will be
- Planning, coordinating and facilitating annual learning needs analysis workshops through understanding the wider business context, influencing and stakeholder engagement.
- Executing capability development reviews, providing insights and analytics.
- Providing analytical input for on-the-job trainer development, including capability, quality, resource levelling and the annual workforce planning process.
- Engaging new Supervisors, Superintendents, Managers and GMs on the L&D framework systems and priority deliverables.
- Partnering with the business to understand its strategic plans/priorities and guide key stakeholders through the efficient development of new learning assets
- Identifying opportunities for development and rationalisation of systems and the adoption of a common / consistent approach to learning.

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have
- Experience in engaging with key stakeholders to undertake high quality learning needs analysis based on business objectives.
- Experience in the application of adult learning principals as well as a willingness to be open to changing learning and development techniques including the use of technology.
- Experience in presenting, facilitating, coaching and developing to achieve operational capability outcomes.
- The capability to engage and influence at all levels of business along with managing projects from inception to execution within targeted timeframes.
- Business acumen, experience in data analysis and providing insights with a strong attention to detail.
