About The Role
WorkPac are seeking an OHS EQ&T Manager to join a successful mining services company in Kalgoorlie. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the HSEQ of all areas of company operations, managing the health and safety of all employees and site personnel.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance of OHSEQ&T management plan and documentation.
  • Advise all levels of management on current legislation and codes of practice.
  • Monitor company safety procedures and maintain safety reporting database.
  • Lead incident investigations and near misses, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage workers' compensation and return to work procedures.
  • Carry out HSE training of all employees and contractors.
  • Ensure employees and contractors are fit to work.
  • Update, maintain and distribute HSEQ documents.

Skills & Experience
  • Diploma in OHS as a minimum.
  • TAA404104 Workplace Training and Assessment.
  • Proven experience in HSEQ Leadership within the resource sector.
  • Senior First Aid and Police Clearance.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills.
  • Customer focused with a positive 'can do' attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisation, coordination, planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Team player and able to collaborate well with others.
