Primary Purpose
The Qualified Haul Truck Operator will be responsible for providing support to mine operations in an active open pit coal mine.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate Komatsu 1500, Komatsu 830E, Caterpillar 785, Caterpillar 789 and Caterpillar 793 Haul Trucks to transport overburden, waste rock and coal from the mine.
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, perform pre-trip checks and complete FLHA's on a regular basis.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 1+ years' experience in a mining environment.
- Experienced as a Haul Truck operator (Experienced gained in a mining environment is preferred).
- Completion of Grade 12.
- Valid Driver's License.
Skills and Abilities
- First Aid/Mine Rescue Training is considered an asset.
- Physically fit with the ability to perform physical labor.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Safety focused.
Work Location / Travel
- Employee bus transport is available from Chetwynd, and Mackenzie, BC.
