This role is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative team environment and develop your career further. We are looking to grow our team of Auto Electricians at Gudai-Darri. These positions are FIFO Perth only on an 8:6, 7:7 roster. Reporting to the Supervisor MEM and involve;
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with all RTIO Company Policies and procedures
- Conduct routine inspections of our New Fleet of Caterpillar AHS Mining Equipment to determine defect repair actions as and when required.
- Opportunity to develop and hone your diagnostic and repair skills on our new fleet of Caterpillar Mining equipment.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects increasing safety whilst reducing risk & cost
- Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification
- Ensure that maintenance standards are kept at a high quality
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the equipment or work procedures.
What you'll bring
- Auto Electrical or Electronics Trade Qualification.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar Mining Equipment Automation Technology.
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
- An Australian C Class manual drivers' licence or higher HR Licence
- High Risk Licences Forklift, Working at Heights, Dogging, Elevated Work Platforms
- A strong commitment to safety
- Previous experience with SAP or similar maintenance system
