With a focus on excellence and exciting projects on the horizon, we are currently seeking an Overhead Line Design Estimator to support our Valley Region operation. This region encompasses a large area from the top of the Coromandel South to Tokoroa and on the other side of the ranges to Waihi and Katikati. The Role:

Working on one of our long term electricity distribution contracts, the Design Estimator is an integral part of the team that is responsible for the delivery of projects. Your primary role will be to provide design and pricing solutions for the overhead lines network. This could expand to include transformer, cabling and substation installations. In addition, you will also get out in the field for customer site visits and, in time manage your own small projects. The location of work can be flexible, with offices in Paeroa, Matamata and Coromandel.

About You:

Knowledge of electricity distribution requirements is essential. You'll also offer design nous and commercial costing skills. You could be an experienced Line Mechanic with an interest to expand your career into design, or an experienced designer/estimator in the power distribution industry ready to hit the ground running. It is ideal if you can also offer:

• CATAN design experience or similar
• Strong MS Office skills
• Knowledge of legislation and ability to work within industry standards
