Position Description

Recruiting and HR Specialist

Purpose:

The incumbent will be based in Arizona, Nevada or Utah and will provide recruiting and human resources services to Pray & Company clients located in the U.S.

Overview of Responsibilities:

•Recruit candidates to fill open job requisitions.

•Ongoing communication with job candidates throughout candidate selection process.

•Perform employee relations functions including coaching, investigations, discipline etc.

•Perform HR compliance functions such as handbook reviews, personnel file audits, immigration audits, workers' compensation reviews etc.

•Deliver training to client employees including executive, supervisor, team-building, etc.

•Complete special projects for clients such as developing workforce plans, climate studies etc.

•Provide new hire onboarding and/or exit interview support as needed.

•Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

•Prior experience in mining industry recruiting and/or mining HR role highly preferred.

•Minimum five (5) years of experience in recruiting function preferred.

•Strong network of candidate prospects and ability to generate new candidate prospects required.

•Bachelor's Degree in human resources management or related field preferred. Master's Degree a plus. Certification in HR also a plus.

•Ability to ensure safe work performance at all times required.

•Demonstrated ability to work well with others across a variety of disciplines required.

•Strong ability to communicate well in a public setting as well as other verbal and written formats required.

•Demonstrated ability to work well independently with self-motivation required.

•Ability to perform work with a strong client customer-service focus including flexibility and adaptability to changing client needs required.

•Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office expertise and ability to learn various HRIS systems required.

•Ability to travel as needed to client locations.

Physical Requirements:
This position is performed primarily in home office settings with occasional work at client office and client field locations. Position includes occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. and ability to occasionally walk on uneven ground and in varied weather conditions required. Must wear appropriate safety attire suitable for client working environment.
