The Technology Parts Planner is responsible for supporting the Technology Planning, Operations and associated stakeholder teams with end to end process of parts supply. They will assist with facilitating successful installations of Caterpillar Technology Products on customers machines and maintaining an overview of Technology Parts, forecasting all the way through to back order tracking and supply.

Additionally this role will review and report recommended future stock holding levels both within WesTrac and Caterpillar to support effective installations and communicate to internal stakeholders the status of the supply of parts whilst highlighting risks for escalation to support reliable on time supply of technology parts. The role is supported by the Technology Work in Progress (WIP) Coordinator.

This role is permanent full-time based at our WA head office in South Guildford.

To be successful the following is required:
  • Experience working in a similar planning role with demonstrated data analysis experience utilising multiple computer systems
  • High Level of experience in parts interpreting and processing within a busy supply chain
  • Experience in recent mining Technology and or AHS products an advantage
  • Ability to interpret systems and manage/track orders in line with stakeholder demands
  • Capacity to learn through self-learning and specific training programs to up skill as new product lines are released to market
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills and demonstrated experience in navigating challenging situations
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
  • Advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite and internet-based applications)
  • High level problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • High level attention to detail
  • Ability to work successfully within a team, autonomously and with multiple stakeholder groups
