About the Role:
Workpac are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager for an on going opportunity with our mining services Client based in the Bowen Basin.
Due to company growth, our client is looking for an exceptional Site Manager to oversee their coal mining operations. Working closely with the General Manager, the successful candidate will develop and run mine site services including load & haul of coal from stockpile to wash plant, road maintenance, reject haulage and dust suppression. This is a Monday to Friday roster with accommodation and a vehicle provided and is a full time, permanent opportunity for the successful candidate.

Key Duties and Experience Required:

• Work closely with the General Manager to ensure coal mine services are running successfully
  
• Lead and develop direct reports to ensure safety production
  
• Provide strong leadership to operational and maintenance crews through safe resource planning
  
• Demonstrate commitment to our clients zero harm goal
  
• Ensure the business is achieving production and operational plans and meeting KPIs
  
• Proven success leading a coal mining operation at similar level is essential
  
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
  
• Experience managing client expectation in conjunction to clients core values
  
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and supervisory competencies including S123 and G2
  
• Must be able to provide current CBM and S11
