Work location: Chichester Hub - Cloudbreak Minesite
Roster: 8D/6R - FIFO ex Perth
Reporting to the Site Capital Projects Superintendent - Chichester Hub, The Site Capital Projects - Electrical Specialist role is responsible for safe, quality and on budget delivery of an assigned capital project portfolio.
This will also include but is not limited to delivering safety, reliability, and maintenance demand reduction improvement projects across the Chichester. These project deliverables and expectations will be reported on in set frequencies to the management team and the stakeholders and ensure discipline is maintained in the project management process.

Key accountabilities will include:
- Provide effective Supervision and Management of Capital Project design, engineering, and execution personnel
- Ensure all contractors completing works under the specialist's direction have the skills and knowledge they need to fulfil their current role competently and obligations under the agreed terms of the contract.
- Demonstrates effort to increase diversity and inclusion within the Chichester team and promote within the contractor's team.
- Ensuring that the processes for management of performance are used appropriately.
- Ensure that a system is in place to ensure that all Life Saving Choices, Major Hazards Program, procedures, processes and SWIs specific to the Capital Projects, Engineering/Reliability and Operational teams are complied with, supported, and understood.
- Ensure timely completion of safety actions for the Capital Projects team, including but not limited to safety projects, PLL score and BMS actions.
- Ensure processes and systems are complied with regarding mutual accountabilities of internal and external partners.
- Ensure all projects have detailed ITP's, ITR's & ITS's in place and hold points are installed in the program to ensure compliance by all at the required points.
- Ensure the 'Working Group' is established and maintained during the lifecycle of the Project
Qualifications and skills required:
- Substantial site based, Fixed Plant Maintenance, Engineering, Major Projects, or Capital Projects experience on a mine site.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and influence change in the contracting and owners' team.
- Proven ability to understand planning and budgetary functions.
- Proven electrical supervisory working and directing contractors in all aspects of fixed plant equipment installations, Greenfield, and Brownfield environments.
- Unwavering Safety & Health Ethic
- Detailed Electrical Experience in HV/LV in a Fixed Plant environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent planning and logistics skills
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office and SAP
- Change Management
- Experience working with data visualization software e.g. Tableau
- Complex problem solving
- Materials handling equipment improvements
- Project Portfolio Management
- Budget Monitoring & Management
