Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Estimator / Planner to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Tampa, FL. We manage our clients’ entire project lifecycle from studies to building assets, operating the assets, and developing efficiencies.

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Develop the estimate plan and initiate estimate kick-off meeting;
• Coordinate MTO deliverables with engineering;
• Deliver an accurate and comprehensive estimate in accordance with estimating procedures, standards, and practices and estimate classifications;
• Bottom-up calculation of direct and indirect field costs, factorization or other methods as appropriate to the estimate classification;
• Establish project escalation and contingency requirements;
• Calculate cash expenditure, predicted escalation over project duration;
• Attend of estimate review meetings;
• Issue of the Basis of Estimate and prepare client estimate presentations;
• Monitor and upgrade the estimating database;
• Prepare and input to Gate Release Meetings.

You bring to the role:

• 10-15 years of experience in an estimating role, ideally on small / medium multi-discipline projects in an EPCM environment throughout various classes of estimate;
• Strong MS Office skills and experience with tools and estimating systems;
• Site experience would be an asset;
• Knowledge of EPC/LSTK estimating techniques;
• Commercial / contractual knowledge.
