Mining Production Manager

Overview:

For our client, a well-known organisation with a global footprint and recent record production numbers, we are looking for a Mine Production Manager. This is a real opportunity to get on board with a well-established company at their most iconic site in Sub-Saharan Africa. Reporting to the Mine Director, the Mine Production Manager is responsible for the development and organisation of all exploitation and production activities within the mine. This is a residential position based in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Responsibilities:

·     Ensure quality and volume of production,

·     Forecast Human Resources needs and keep track of their fulfilment,

·     Ensure good communication with all involved parties within the company,

·     Develop production tracking processes,

·     Train and assist production teams,

·     Prepare and track exploitation and production programs,

·     Actively participate to meetings within the Production Department.

Profile:

·     Extensive experience in Mining industry and previous production management experience,

·     Mining Engineering or Geology qualification,

·     Fluency in English and French,

·     African experience,

·     Proven track record in leadership and management of a large workforce,

·     Inspirational and motivating leader,

·     Team player and flexible individual.
