We are looking for a Procurement Analyst who is a self-starter & results orientated to back themselves to take our role and make it their own!

About the role:

In this role, you will support our National Procurement Manager to create a centre of excellence for our procurement processes / system, procurement projects, and strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide analytical support to ensure procurement strategies are successfully implemented
• Management of the collection, validation, consolidation and distribution of Downer rebates
• Produce analytics to enable Procurement to negotiate better value outcomes for Downer
• Identify where further value opportunities exist through comparative analysis and other methods
• Gather information to assist in the assessment of existing suppliers' actual performance

About you:

You have the ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment, good interpersonal skills, excellent time management, knowledge of best practice with Customer Service and ability to communicate with a wide variety of people in a professional manner.

You will have:

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent in relevant experience
• Proven advanced excel skills
• Ability to work with detail and identify trends from large amounts of information
• Proven experience with organising and presenting information in a meaningful way
• Ability to work collaboratively across a range of levels within an organisation
